Col Miotin
The Col Miotin winery is located in the heart of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, in Pieve di Soligo, on a hill in the shape of an ancient Roman amphitheater. Miotin is the nickname that was given to the family, Antonio, the owner, wanted to enhance it by including it in the name of the company.
The company was founded in the early twentieth century with grandfather Sante and developed over time until the 80s, when only Girardo remained, with his son Antonio, to carry on the business, but only from a winemaking point of view. We have to wait until 2010 for the first vinification.
Today the winemaking process uses, as in the past, hand-picked grapes from its own territory. Over the last few years, Col Miotin has seen an ever-increasing increase in production which has allowed, starting from 2018, to also develop new projects to expand the winery.
