“Riccardo” is the first company in area Doc Conegliano – Valdobbiadene which produce Prosecco guaranteed with a certification that certifies the entire vineyard chain production and the bottled product. The company and the project came together about six years ago, though the first production and commercial sources have origins already in the 1800. The brothers Fornasier, Severino, Giuseppe and Claudio, already actively engaged in various industries such as weaving, construction and environmental services, decide to invest in land , left by father Richard (which the name of the Company), to cultivating the vine Prosecco. The production zone of Prosecco is extended between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene and it is within this area that F.lli Fornasier own their vineyards, specifically in the area of Vidor, Valdobbiadene and microarea Cartizze. The choice made by the Company is to produce wine with food chain traceability , selecting the best production areas and involving qualified personnel from the management of land until the last stage of the bottling of the product.
