— Conegliano Valdobbiadene

Mionetto was founded in 1887 because of the love and passion for the land and for working in the winery that the master wine-maker Francesco Mionetto, founder of the family, had. It is positioned in the sweet-rolling hills of Valdobbiadene, heart of the new D.O.C.G. Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area, now Unesco World Heritage Site. Mionetto has represented the territory and become one of the most representative Italian Designation wineries on the international scenery as well as world pioneer for exporting Prosecco to the United States, through the Mionetto USA Inc. in New York, since 1998. The total take-over of the winery in 2008 by the German Group Henkell & Co. Gruppe, today Henkell Freixenet, one of the major European producers of bubbles, has lead to further opportunities of growth both on the Italian and International markets, always on the basis of the idea of the land of origin. Passion, tradition, research and excellence are the founding values of a unique winery, and a unique brand, with an unmistakable style.
