Masottina is the historic brand of the Dal Bianco family, a reality born and grown in the hills of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2019. The company was founded in 1946 by grandfather Epifanio Dal Bianco, who laid the foundations to produce excellent wines. His eldest son Adriano (an oenologist who studied at the School of Viticulture and Oenology, in the Historical School of Conegliano) is at the helm of the company together with his sons who carry on the production with dedication and tenacity. Dal Bianco family can count on almost three hundred hectares of vineyards, for the majority extend over the hills of Conegliano, especially in Ogliano area and the lands of the Piave, in Gorgo al Monticano and Mogliano Veneto. A vineyard park built over the years by the Dal Bianco family, especially by its second generation led by Masottina winemaker Adriano Dal Bianco. Today Adriano’s children are making a valuable contribution by investing in the expansion of the vineyard and in the important issue of sustainability. Masottina is guided by Adriano as President, Federico asVice President and Filippo as Sales Director. Masottina has two souls: one linked to the production of sparkling wines, and the other dedicated to still wines. At the heart of the production of sparkling wines is the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG with the denomination of the Rive di Ogliano, which is the greatest qualitative expression of this quality assurance label. The Ai Palazzi line by Masottina is the second identify of the company, dedicated to the great tradition of Veneto still wines, in particular with regards to the Colli di Conegliano DOCG denomination with Montesco and Rizzardo, two Single Vineyards produced in limited quantities.
