La Gioiosa is located in the heart of Treviso area hills. The name is a tribute to the ancient and poetic definition of the province of Treviso, “Marca Gioiosa et Amorosa” ( Joyous and Amorous area) underlining the fertile soil and the sociable and pleasant lifestyle of the inhabitants. La Gioiosa wines are the result of centuries of vine growing, of decades of wine production. The winery represents the tradition of winemaking which the Moretti Polegato family has been carrying out for generations and stands out as one of the five most important and best known wine brands in Italy and in the world. Providing consumers with products which have a clear and reliable provenance is a vital topic for all producers. The objective is to ensure full traceability, quality control and an ongoing program to improve the quality of the wines which reach the consumer. La Gioiosa relies on important sources of supply which are aligned to the same high standards and environmentally-friendly practices as La Gioiosa itself. Grapes are collected from 600 vine growers cooperating with La Gioiosa for decades. A special co-operation which includes the winery agronomists and oenologists constant monitoring of grape growing to comply with La Gioiosa high quality standard. The winery is equipped with the most modern technologies complying to the highest quality standard, which makes La Gioiosa a model organization.
