In 2004, siblings Elena and Enrico Moschetta realised their dream of producing sparkling Conegliano Valdobbiadene wines from grapes from family vineyards owned by their grandfather Genesio since the early 1900s. Thus began the entrepreneurial adventure, harnessing Enrico’s twenty-year experience in winemaking and Elena’s administrative-financial experience, helped by her husband Luca Cuzziol in Italian and foreign distribution. Twenty years later, BiancaVigna can count on about 30 hectares of cultivated land and a production of DOCG and DOC sparkling wines exported all over the world (Europe, USA, UK, Japan, Australia, etc.). In Italy, BiancaVigna Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG can be found on the tables of many starred restaurants, international hotels, wine shops and selected bars. The profile of the company and its founders has always been characterised by a deep passion for the land and wine, and is built on solid values of respect for the land and low company profile that is rewarding the company. The company focuses on sustainability since its foundation; in fact, in 2015 the new winery was inaugurated on the beautiful hills of Ogliano, close to Conegliano, which has obtained the ‘Casaclima Wine’ pre-certification, a sustainability protocol that aims at the climate neutrality of the building and the production chain, also through the use of recycled materials and renewable energy sources. BiancaVigna’s vineyards are cultivated with integrated pest management (SQNPI) and one vineyard is organically managed: from this comes the Prosecco DOCG Organic, testifying the company’s focus on sustainability and respect for the surrounding territory. BiancaVigna also produces 3 Rive, from its vineyards in San Gallo, Ogliano and Collalto, in order to give voice to the different characteristics of the different terroirs of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene appellation.
