Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG will be enjoyed by VIPs and Patrons of the opera company in the beautiful grounds of Belcombe Court, in Bradford-on-Avon near Bath during August and September. The wines will also be available for opera-goers to purchase and enjoy with their picnics. Free masterclasses which will allow visitors to learn more about the region and wines will be presented by Sarah Abbott MW at two of the performances.

For while prosecco is a household name synonymous with Italy, the DOCG is a much smaller area, and a UNESCO world heritage site, where viticulture is carried on under extreme conditions that is why this is called heroic viticolture.”
