Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG at ProWein Düsseldorf
An exclusive masterclass, guided tastings, and immersive tours: everything is ready in Düsseldorf, from March 16 to 18, to celebrate Conegliano Valdobbiadene

The international appointments of the Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Docg (Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG Protection Consortium) continue, with a stop in Düsseldorf for ProWein from March 16 to 18 (Hall 15 Stand C 56). There will be 12 participating producers in total: Ca’ Salina, Col Sandago, Col Vetoraz, Domus Picta, La Farra, La Tordera, Mionetto, Nani Rizzi, Rebuli Angelo, Sui Nui, Valdo, and Varaschin.
This year, the Consortium’s presence at the exhibition will be particularly dynamic thanks to initiatives planned in collaboration with ICE, the Agency for the promotion and internationalization of Italian companies abroad.

The first meeting will be held on March 16 at 3 PM inside the ICE area (Hall 15, stand F68); in this setting, Peter Douglas, a Berliner and great wine professional, will conduct a masterclass with the Consortium Director, Diego Tomasi, titled “Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco: A Tale of Soils, Vintages and Styles.” The focus will be on the different variety of soils, vintages, and styles that characterize Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG, a denomination that has become a symbol of Made in Italy worldwide. The tasting will include the Rive selection from different historical vintages to highlight the longevity of these wines, as well as Cartizze in Brut version and Sui Lieviti.
Additionally, during the exhibition days, journalists and industry professionals will be welcomed at the Consortium’s stand, guided by Filippo Bartolotta, journalist and wine animator, and Georgia Panagopoulou, better known as @wine.gini, creator and influencer. They will lead attendees in discovering the Denomination, along with those of Soave and Valpolicella, through the tours “Veneto: The Fort Knox of Italy DOCGs” and “Veneto Unveiled: A Wine Mosaic.” These guided tours will offer a unique and immersive opportunity to international operators and journalists. At the Consortium’s stand, visitors will also find over 40 different labels available at the tasting counter managed by an AIS sommelier.
