The First Superiore Festival in Krakow
On July 13th and 14th, the first festival dedicated to Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, organized by Wine Atelier, will take place.
An intense two-day event to introduce and discover Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG in Krakow, Poland. The idea was born from Zuzia Nowakowska-Sikora and Artur Sikora, founders of Wine Atelier, a store born out of their love for the Italian “dolce vita” and the first Polish online store exclusively dedicated to the sale of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, which they import by personally selecting and testing them during their many visits to the region.
To further spread the passion for sparkling wine in the country, Zuzia and Artur, in partnership with the Consorzio di Tutela, have organized the first Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Festival in Poland, “Wino w Willi,” to be held on July 13th and 14th, 2024, at the splendid Villa Decius in Krakow. An event that will transport enthusiasts and industry professionals to the heart of the hilly vineyards of the Denomination, celebrating Italy’s most renowned sparkling wine in its most refined form.
The festival program includes tastings of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, personally presented by the 15 producers in attendance (Ancilotto & Ardenghi, Bival, Borgoluce, Col Vetoraz, Domus Picta, La Marca, Le Colture, Malibran, Marchiori, Mongarda, Reggia Leone, Rivaluce, Ruggeri, Sorelle Bronca, and Val d’Oca), six masterclasses featuring the presence of the Consorzio Director Diego Tomasi, discussion sessions dedicated to HO.RE.CA. industry operators, workshops and conferences led by renowned sommeliers and wine experts, and unique culinary pairings that will enhance the flavors and aromas of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. All accompanied by a Mediterranean-themed DJ set.
