A three-day full immersion in the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, featuring steep slopes, elegant bubbles, small villages, and rural traditions for three English influencers. From June 13 to 15, the English wine content creators Elizabeth Hawthornthwaite (@elizabethwinegirl with 23.300 followers), Sophia Longhi (@skinandpulp with 14.200 followers) e Hannah Milnes (@the.british.bouchon with 12.700 followers), accompanied by Master of Wine Sarah Abbott (@sarahabbottmw), were guests of an intense experience in the area, discovering authentic moments celebrated by Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.

The program on the first day included an introduction to the wines of the Denomination at a ‘casera’ immersed in the vineyards, with an aperitif and guided tastings by some members of the Young Club Conegliano Valdobbiadene, focusing on the Martinotti Method, the Rive, Cartizze, and the Sui Lieviti type, followed by a dinner at Trattoria La Cima. On the second day, there was a transfer to Col San Martino with an excursion to the ‘Anello del Moncader,’ part of the ‘Cammino delle Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano Valdobbiadene,’ to discover the UNESCO heritage, accompanied by the creator of the path, Giovanni Carraro, and the Technical Office of the Consorzio di Tutela to explain the sustainability projects supported. After lunch at Locanda Da Condo, the four guests visited some local wineries, ending the day on the panoramic terrace of the Osteria di Collalbrigo, passing through the iconic locations of Rolle and Pieve di San Pietro. The final day was dedicated to a cooking class with local products and a demonstration of recipes paired with different types of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. The tour concluded with a lunch featuring the created recipes and a food-wine pairing demonstration by Michele Manca, Best Sommelier of Conegliano Valdobbiadene 2023 and Best Sommelier of Veneto 2022.

Thanks to this activity, the English content creators gathered material to create content dedicated to Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, which will be published during the summer on their Instagram profiles and shared on the official account of the Consorzio di Tutela. Stay tuned!
