Canella

The Canella winery, founded in 1947 by Luciano Canella, is now run by his children, Alessandra, Lorenzo, Nicoletta and Monica and his nephew Tommaso.

The Canella winery was one of the very first to produce Prosecco DOC sparkling wine.

For this reason – for reasons of history and tradition, that is – it was granted the DOCG appellation in spite of its location, outside the Superiore DOCG borders.

Canella produces the Bellini in bottle since 1998: two parts sparkling wine, one part white peach juice and pulp from select, perfectly ripe peaches and a few drops of wild raspberry.

Its natural ingredients are grown in the Venetian countryside; the delicate white peaches are handpicked when fruit is perfectly ripe, so as to maximize concentration of sugar and aromas.
