The event

The Boston Wine Expo is one of the most important events for the wine industry inside the US, with 8,000 visitors, including 2,000 trade members, more than 200 exhibitors and 1,800 wines to taste. Considering the importance of the event, the Consortium will be present with an institutional tasting table, where visitors will be able to discover the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG tasting the sparkling wines of 12 producers:

Adami, Masottina, Duca di Dolle, Le Colture, Bellenda, Astoria, Domus Picta, Villa Sandi, Bortolomiol, Frassinelli, La Farra, Ruggeri.

The seminar

During the first day of the event, on Saturday 18th, there will be a seminar focusing on Prosecco Superiore, held by the brand ambassador Alan Tardi: “Prosecco Beyond the Bubbles: Discovering a Wine You Thought You Already Knew“. In this seminar the partecipants will take a virtual journey to the hilly enclave of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, just north of Venice, with Alan Tardi as guide and take a fresh look at this most popular bubbly. They will look at the origin and evolution of Prosecco, the surprising complexity and diversity of the growing area, and the many different typologies that exist within the DOCG appellation. Most importantly, they’ll taste these things in a lineup of uncommon Proseccos that demonstrate various aspects of what makes Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG exceptional.
